Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What tools do you use?

I mainly use an iPad Pro 12.9 (3rd Gen) w/ Apple Pencil, Procreate, and Aseprite for digital art/pixel art. For traditional art, I use graphite pencils, ballpoint pens, and markers.

Q. How long have you been drawing for?

A. For yeaaars! Been taking it more seriously for the last 10 years or so, still with a focus on characters and creatures. I'm working towards branching out to environmental design and game concept art.

Q. Any tips for new artists?

A. Don't get too discouraged about where your art stands compared to others. Everyone advances at their own pace, the only one you should compare yourself to is yourself the day before. Focus on what you really want to draw. What gives you joy? What gets you excited to create? If you don't have an answer to these yet, you may need to take some more time to explore yourself.Watch other artists on sites like YouTube or Twitch and see what their process is like. Play your favorite game or even ones outside of what you normally play, maybe you'll come across something that'll ignite your creative spark and motivate you to try something different. Don't be afraid to experiment! If you're wanting to learn how to draw a specific thing, the best way is to simply look at references and just practice. There's a ton of information out there (books, tutorials, video lessons, etc.), use them to your advantage!

Q. What are your hobbies?

A. Other than drawing, I like playing video games, learning about game development, listening to podcasts, collecting crystals, and watching animations. If it features cool monster designs, dragons, or battle mechs, I'll most likely be interested!

Q. Do you accept art trades or requests?

A. Not too often. I'll occasionally do requests at my own discretion.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How long does a commission take?

A. On average, it takes around 1 week - 3 months to complete a commission as long as messages and approvals are responded to in a timely manner. Anything that will increase the amount of work (revisions, certain add-ons), or cause a delay (illness, holidays, personal reasons), will also extend the time. You will be notified of any delays.

Q. Will I need a reference sheet of my fursona/original character before commissioning you?

A. It's preferred, but not required. If you only have a stick figure doodle and a detailed description that's fine too! In that case, make sure you also get together some other visual references (photos, game screenshots, etc.) that best fits your vision of the character. This will help me to bring your ideas to life and reduce the amount of time going back-and-forth with edits. If you are looking to get a pet portrait done, I will require at least 1 clear photo of your pet.

Q. When are your commissions open?

A. Commissions are open as long as there are slots available. There are a limited amount of slots open at a time, and each will be filled when orders are accepted. You can view the current queue here.

Q. Will I get my commission delivered through the mail?

A. Nope. Everything is currently digital only and will be sent through email.

Q. Can I contact you about my commission through social media?

A. To keep things organized, I currently manage commissions through Artconomy which, in turn, sends you updates via email. Other social media will be used only if email is unavailable.

Q. Can I support you elsewhere if I'm not in the market for a commission?

A. Yup! You can connect with me on any of my socials listed at the bottom of this page or share my work with your friends/family! I also have a Ko-fi page where you can send a donation if you're feeling a little generous. I appreciate the support! <3
